The designer of myBrideBod, Allison Ferguson, has been personally training men and women since 1995. While attending University of California, Irvine as a Biology student, she worked for both Bally Total Fitness and UCI as both a Personal Trainer and a Group Exercise Instructor. During this time she designed the first group personal training exercise class. That class was used until 2013 by 24 Hour Fitness. During her undergraduate study she was simultaneously training for her first Ms. Fitness competition, where she learned the tricks and discipline to get into competitive shape.
After graduation, she continued to perform at the highest levels in the fitness industry as the #1 Private Trainer for the high end Spectrum Club in Fullerton, California in both 1999 and 2001, and almost received that honor in 2000 as well. She did all this while simultaneously earning her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology.
When she was planning her wedding, she thought she was diligent with her food and exercise, but noticed she was still not losing the pounds she gained when she fell in love. So she turned to a trainer, only to find that she just needed a little help! She was so overwhelmed by the wedding schedule she didn’t realize she gained weight. She quickly lost the extra fluff, and strutted down the aisle!
After Allison achieved her weight loss goal, she realized from her extensive training experience, there were some inconsistencies in the fitness programs that were being marketed to women. She was very disturbed that these programs weren’t designed to be specific for each woman, so that they could achieve their goals faster and without injury. So she had a goal to make a difference and bring change to the industry.
Since she created her first class, she has an intense passion for helping women look and feel their best, that she is compelled to bring myBrideBod to you so can be the most bodacious bride you can be, and look better naked! This training is so comprehensive that the principles will permeate every area of your life.
She lives in Orange County, California with her two kids.
